GREENVILLE, Ky. (June 13, 2025) – Biomass Engineering and Equipment (BE&E) broke ground today on a new $20 million manufacturing facility in Muhlenberg County, marking the first project to locate in the Paradise Regional Industrial Park. The investment is expected to create 250 new jobs and significantly boost the region’s economy.

Governor Andy Beshear joined local officials and company leaders for the groundbreaking ceremony, calling the project “an exciting next step” for the community.

“These 250 job opportunities will provide a substantial economic boost to the region,” Gov. Beshear said. “I appreciate BE&E for their belief in the commonwealth and our people.”

The Indiana-based company manufactures specialized equipment for the agriculture, forest products, and biomass sectors. The new site in Greenville will expand operational space, increase production capacity, and support the company's growing customer base across multiple industries.

Dane Floyd, CEO of Floyd Holdings, said the decision to locate in Kentucky was deliberate: “Greenville, Kentucky is the right choice. We are proud to call it our new home.”

The project was made possible in part by $745,000 in state support through the Kentucky Product Development Initiative and preliminary incentives from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA). BE&E may also benefit from recruitment assistance and customized workforce training.

Muhlenberg County Judge/Executive Mack McGehee praised the development as a catalyst for long-term growth: “This groundbreaking marks not just the beginning of a new facility, but the start of new opportunities for our community.”

The announcement adds to a record-setting period of economic growth in Kentucky. Since 2019, Gov. Beshear’s administration has announced over $35 billion in investments and more than 61,000 new jobs.
