
GREENVILLE – The 4th annual Farmers Bank & Trust Lady Mustangs Classic is coming
up this Friday & Saturday, January 17-18, at Muhlenberg County High School with a
boys and girls varsity double-header on tap for opening night and three girls’ varsity
matchups set for Saturday afternoon.
Admission to the Lady Mustangs Classic is free to all Muhlenberg County High School
students and to anyone with a Farmers Bank debit card. Just present your student ID
or debit card at the gate each day. “Farmers Bank & Trust is proud to assist Coach (Ryan) Groves and the Lady Mustangs program with another fantastic event for basketball fans throughout the area,” said Dean Rowe, Muhlenberg County President of Farmers Bank & Trust. “You can catch both of our Muhlenberg varsity teams in action on Friday night and enjoy three great inter-
region matchups beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.”
Friday night (Jan. 17) kicks off with a Kentucky-Indiana border battle when the
Muhlenberg County Lady Mustangs square off with the Evansville Harrison Lady
Warriors at 6 p.m. The nightcap features the Mustangs against 2nd Region power
Henderson County in a battle of two of western Kentucky’s best. Tip-off is set for 7:45 p.m.
The action on Saturday (Jan. 18) starts at 1:00 p.m. with a 3rd Region vs. 2nd Region
matchup featuring Trigg County and Ohio County. Next, at 2:45 p.m., Paducah St.
Mary from the 1st Region will square off with 3rd Region foe McLean County.
The final game of the Classic tips at 4:30 p.m. with the Lady Mustangs facing 2
nd Region contender Webster County.
