Paradise Combined Cycle Plant Gains National Recognition

DRAKESBORO, KY- The 2024 Generation Knowledge Service (GKS) Plant Operational Excellence Awards recently recognized power plants demonstrating outstanding operational efficiency and reliability. Guidehouse’s Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure segment awarded Tennessee Valley Authority’s Paradise Combined Cycle Plant in Drakesboro, Kentucky, as the top performer among combined cycle plants. The awards, covering performance data from 2019 to 2023, assessed plants based on cost management, operational performance, availability, reliability, and safety. The award highlights the plant’s exemplary adaptation to the challenges posed by the evolving energy landscape .
